As we kick of PFF 2025, here's a quick overview of what the first two sessions will look like! Our first session will run Tuesday 1st April, with the second session the following Tuesday, 8th April. Both will start with a creative talk from PFF founder, Kerry Gibson, around the session's theme followed by a hands on workshop!
When: 6pm onwards
Where: The Platform (upstairs in the Engine Shed)
Who: Everyone is welcome!
Come along, get stuck in, and be part of the conversation. We’d love to see you there! DM us on instagram (@project.fashionfixed) for any questions or more details!
session 1: What our clothes are made from?

We are talking all about what our clothes are really made of, the materials used and what impact they have on the environment. After the talk, join us for a hands-on workshop, where we’ll cover the basics of hand sewing! You’ll learn how to sew a button, hem by hand and try out a few simple stitch techniques!
If you have any clothes with small tears or loose seems, feel free to bring them along - we’ll show you how to mend them by hand! No experience necessary just bring your enthusiasm!
Session 2: Who makes our clothes?

This session is going to be all about who makes our clothes and how we can make a difference! It will include real stories and case studies, referencing to the Rana Plaza Collapse.
After the talk, we will run a crochet workshop where you can pick up some basic crochet skills! Don’t worry if you can’t crochet, we’ll have some pros in the room to help.
We’ll also have our zine-making AND a hand sewing table set up again too! Just incase you missed out on them before!
